Mirela Cernaianu, MD

Dr. Mirela Cernaianu, or “Dr. C.” as her patients call her, opened her private practice, Hera Healthcare, so that she could provide compassionate and holistic medical care that reflects her own values. Women living in and around Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks, California, find that Dr. Cernaianu’s focus on their individual needs, and her willingness to take the time to know them, motivate them to achieve and maintain vitality and wellness.
Dr. Cernaianu attended medical school at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. After completing her internship and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospital Bucharest, she became a clinic instructor and then Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospital in Bucharest, Romania.
After relocating to New Orleans, Dr. Cernaianu completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University, then went on to achieve multiple board certifications, as well as a Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine.
After practicing obstetrics and gynecology at a clinic in Florida, Dr. Cernaianu moved to California, where she served as the Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, California. She worked at the Clinicas del Camino Real in Ventura County for more than a decade, where she proudly provided holistic health services to those who relied on the clinic for their medical care. She started her own practice so that she could focus on truly personalized care for each individual patient.
When she’s not helping patients, Dr. Cernaianu is dedicated to practicing and teaching yoga. She’s a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and is working to achieve her 300-hour certification.
Dana Duarte
FNP and Cosmetic Nurse Injector
Dana, FNP, MS is passionate about empowering clients with knowledge and choices to find creative solutions to their health and aesthetic concerns. She has partnered with Dr. Mirela Cernaianu, owner/director of Hera Healthcare in order to provide world class care and a multitude of integrative services in Westlake Village, CA. In addition to beauty, wellness and holistic health management, Family Nurse Practitioner Dana has advanced training in the operating room and post-operative care, all to better serve your wellness needs.
Meghan Morrissette
RN, BSN
Meghan is nurse injector and laser specialist with over ten years of experience in the aesthetic industry. Meghan completed her first Bachelors degree in English and Marketing from Marquette University in 2007. She then served in an administrative role in both plastic surgery and aesthetics before deciding to return to school to pursue a degree in nursing. After receiving her B.S.N. from MSOE in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Meghan returned to the aesthetic field to work as a registered nurse. Meghan has a passion for skincare, injectables, and restoring youth and balance to the face. Her extensive background and attention to detail give her a unique perspective as an aesthetic nurse.
In her free time, Meghan enjoys staying fit and active by weight training, running, Pilates, and hiking.
Haley Weisenfluh
LVN
Haley comes from a long line of healthcare providers and always wanted to be a nurse. She loves helping others and is specifically passionate about women’s health. Before HERA Health Care, Haley worked as an LVN at an assisted living home for 3 years and where she gained very valuable experience. She loves being on the team at HERA because she believes in whole-health holistic care and she is grateful to help the patients she interacts with every day. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, watching movies, and fulfilling her role as “dog mom”!
Jamie Molloy
MA
Jamie graduated from C.E.T in Oxnard as a certified medical assistant. Her dream of working in the medical field started many years ago. She had all 4 of her children born premature and she spent a lot of time in the N.I.C.U units, which is where her dream of working in the medical field started. She put her dream on hold and raised her boys working for 15yrs in the grocery business as a cashier. When her youngest was old enough she decided to go back to school and change careers. She was introduced to Dr. Cernaianu by her school instructor and a friend who did her externship with HERA Health Care. “I heard amazing things from them both. That’s when I knew Dr. C had amazing values and I wanted to work for her.
Jessica Morton
Patient Care Coordinator
Prior to becoming a mom and homeschooling her now sixteen- and eighteen-year-old sons, Jessica enjoyed helping patients at Internal Medicine, Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology medical practices. Jessica’s growing interests led her to become a Nationally Certified Surgical Technologist where she had the opportunity to assist intra-operatively while also deepening her understanding of pre and post-surgical patient care. Jessica has always believed in the importance of outstanding service, personal connection and sharing JOY whenever possible, and looks forward to being of service to the patients who seek care from Dr. Mirela Cernaianu and Dana Duarte, FNP, at HERA Health Care. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband of twenty-four years Chris and their sons, Cole and Landon, exercising with their rescued Australian Cattle Dog” Max” and being entertained by their two lop-eared bunnies, “Kara” and “Bonner”.

I am currently a student studying at Charter College in Oxnard to become a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. I enjoy anything outdoors, from hiking, horseback riding, dirtbike riding, and anything I can do with my family because I have two young boys. I was previously an assistant manager for a company that focused on skincare and making people feel beautiful. I found Dr. Cernaianu’s practice and instantly loved what she has to offer. I had a passion for skincare from my previous job, and Dr. Cernaianu’s office provides a combination of various laser treatments amongst holistic restorative care to her patients. There are different treatments to fit different patient needs, and I love that!
